This vineyard is situated in Neive in the subarea of Basarin, which in Piedmont dialect means sun-kissed. The overall surface covers 4.5 hectares of Nebbiolo and half a hectare of Dolcetto.
Lieing at an altitude between 250-300 metres above sea level, the land formed during the Tortonian age: the lithological matrix is made up of grey-blue silted marly deposits, interspersed by sandstones, known by the name of Gallo d’Alba Sandstones.
