Gianmatè vineyard is a small plot of land of approx. 2 hectares, situated within the subarea of Basarin in Neive.
The entire Basarin territory is formed by a rather regular stratification, but in the actual Gianmatè vineyard the pedological matrix is substantially differentiated, showing its own marine origin with an abundance of fossil finds.
