Trezzo Tinella

Vigna Rorea

Rorea vineyard situated in the Commune of Trezzo Tinella lies between 460 and 530 metres above sea level. Its name stems from from a huge oak tree (known as a “ru” in Piedmont dialect), which towers on the hill.

Lieing on calcareous sandstones of marine origin, the land in this area is rich in sand and carbonates. The shape of the hill and exposure from east to southeast form a natural amphitheatre, which thanks to the high altitude and sudden changes in temperature; allow the grapes to ripen slowly and late. The conditions particularly suited to precocious and white berry vines give the wine enjoyable depth and harmonious elegance.
