Eleven hectares of vineyard extending over the subareas of Bussia and Bricco San Pietro, beginning from a splendid country cottage dating back to the eighteenth century: called Cascina Canavere, Canavere Farmhouse. Immersed in vineyards and situated at the mouth of a valley sheltered by surrounding hills, at an altitude of 410 metres above sea level.

Formed during the Tortonian age approximately 10 million years ago, the land formed from marine sedimentation and muddy currents on marlstone of Sant’Agata fossile (known by the locals as “töv”).

Planted with the vine species: Nebbiolo Da Barolo (4.5 hectares), Barbera (3.5 hectares), and Dolcetto (3 hectares). Land analyses show the valley has high iron content: the grapes and wine obtained therefore express intense fruity notes and smooth tannicity.
